Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is an Australian born therapy, developed by Thomas Ambrose Bowen in Geelong, Victoria from the 1950’s to the 1980’s. It is a holistic technique that works to relieve pain and inflammation in the body.
At “Mellow People” your Bowen practitioner carries out an assessment and treatment tailored to you. Treatment is guided and targeted in response to assessment findings and Bowen moves are applied to reduce and eliminate the fascial tension and restriction. Bowen helps both acute and chronic problems. It is also credited with restoring balance in the body through its effects on the central nervous system.
